We recently completed a comprehensive conservation of the stained glass windows in the Memorial Chamber as part of the Centre Block project.

The Memorial Chamber removal included:

Working closely with multiple trades and companies to ensure the safety of the historical glass and stonework

Removal, documentation and custom-made storage for the glasswork

Providing and assisting with the fabrication and installation of custom-made plugs

Providing before, during and after documentation of the entire scope of work

The Memorial Chamber conservation project included:

Cleaning and re-finishing existing windows

Integrating replacement glass, made with carefully-matched handmade glass painted with kiln fired vitreous enamel

Repairing glass using museum quality epoxies and back-plated non-glare glass

Providing before, during and after documentation of the entire scope of work
