Pan Chancho Bakery & Café

Project Scope

Pan Chancho Bakery & Cafe is a dazzling European style bakery, a gourmet food shop and a dine in cafe located in the heart of Kingston. Originally envisioned as a small bakery to provide hand-made bread for local restaurants Pan Chancho has become a local landmark.

Traditional Glassworks was hired to design a functional and beautiful work of art that was seamlessly integrated with the interior of the bakery. The end result is a dynamic artwork that sacrifices neither function or form.

The development and execution of the project included:

• Glasswork, woodwork

• Final Assembly

• Installation

As the stairwell that these units surround was needed for egress in case of fire, building code requirements were integrated into the design, the glasswork and the framing materials.
