Approaching the Centre Block Restoration Project:
With well over a thousand heritage works to restore TG created an archival and documentation system custom-built for the Centre Block Project
Working closely with the client TG documented the Centre Block stained and leaded glass inventory
Using this body of documentation TG provided estimates, budgets and a scope of work for each individual window

Custom Design and Manufacturing for the Centre Block Project:
As part of the scope of work TG designed custom lead dyes, electroplated patinas, custom-made ventilation systems and protective glazing
TG designed and produced custom steel-heart lead came to perfectly match and elevate the original heritage design
TG produced a reliable and durable electroplated finish that matched the original finish with the help of multiple subcontractors
TG designed and produced csutom-made ventialtion systems by working closely with an engineering and custom-fabrication company

Removing the leaded glass windows:
TG worked closely with multiple trades and companies to ensure the safety of the historical glass and stonework
Removal, documentation and custom-made storage for the glasswork
Providing and assisting with the fabrication and installation of custom-made plugs
Providing before, during and after documentation of the entire scope of work

Restoring the leaded glass windows:
Cleaning and re-building over 1,000 unique stained & leaded glass panels
Integrating replacement glass, made with custom-made handmade glass
Repairing glass using museum quality epoxies and back-plated non-glare glass
Providing before, during and after documentation of the entire scope of work
This project included the stained glass Looking Ahead window, Jubilee window and the House of Commons East Clerestory windows
